TUV 300 was launched by the Mahindra in September 2015. Now the company is giving the TUV300 subcompact SUV a facelift. The current Mahindra TUV300 is not so popular model in the sub-4 meter SUV segment.
However, the company expects that this facelift could help in the rise of the model’s monthly demand. The Updated 2019 Mahindra TUV300 will be sold in 5 variants:
- T10 and
- a new top-spec variant T10 (O).
The overall basic designing of the TUV300 remain unchanged. The facelifted model gets new smoked lens tail lamps and spare wheel cover which gives it a refreshed look.
The chrome front grille, LED headlamps with DRLs and a newly updated bumper adds a little spice to it looks. It gets a new sleek roof rail. There is not any major difference inside the cabin.
All the companies are now giving their main focus to the BS-6 emission norms set up by the government. So the addition of the ABS is the necessary part. Apart from this, it comes with:
- dual-tone interior
- rear parking sensors
- speed limit alert and front seatbelt reminder
- dual-front airbags,
- ABS with EBD & ISOFIX child seat mounts as standard
- Double-barrel headlamps with daytime running LEDs
- dual-tone alloy wheels
- 7-inch touchscreen system
- automatic climate control and rear AC vents as well and many more features are expected in this updated version.
The New version of the Mahindra TUV300 might receive the new diesel engine which is already available on the XUV300. It is a 1.5-liter three-cylinder diesel engine that churns out a peak power of 100 Bhp along with 240 Nm of torque. It gets a 5-speed manual or automatic transmission.
The expected date of the upgraded version is April 2019 itself or May 2019.
The Expected the price of the Mahindra TUV300 facelift is in the range of Rs 8.31 lakh – 10.95 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The cost is almost the same as that of the current model.
