2020 TVS Jupiter facelift seems to be the bigger edition of current TVS Jupiter, a flagship in scooter community.

2020 TVS Jupiter

Jupiter is the highest selling scooter of TVS and the second best selling scooter in India. Now the company is working on face-lift of the model. The upcoming 2020 TVS Jupiter is the upgraded version of the existing model.

focusing on its design, there will not be any drastic changes in it’s look. we could see minor enhancements in the apron and body graphics & panels with a different set of side turn indicators which would give it all over refreshed look. New color options might be introduced. The higher variants will be available in premium colors and in chrome detailing which would give it a fabulous look.

Next talking about the features, the overall features remain the same as that of the current model only slight modifications are done in this model. The upcoming 2020 Jupiter includes:

  • full-LED headlight (currently only Grande edition includes this)
  • new instrument console with a medium-sized LCD display at the bottom which will display information such as trip meter, odometer, fuel indicator and much more.
  • updated LED tail lamp.

The engine is almost same as that of the current TVS Jupiter, a 109.7 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, petrol engine that makes 8 bhp of peak power at 7,500 rpm and 8Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm. As upgradation, the engine gets a fuel-injection system as standard fitment, following the norms of the BS-6 emission. The motor comes with a CVT gearbox.

As the engine gets a fuel injection system it will increase the mileage by 10%. you will be able to deliver 58 kmpl. Therefore with the fuel tank capacity of 5 Litres, TVS will offer a riding range of nearly 200-280 km. Therefore you can use it for a long journey as well.

TVS Jupiter is already one of the costliest 110 cc scooters. It’s classy looks and good features make it popular amongst the scooters. The upgraded hardware will result in a hike of price so the new TVS Jupiter may cost INR 55,000 to INR 65,000 (ex-showroom) range.

launch date:

This upgraded 2020 TVS Jupiter is expected to be launched in the festive season of next year. It is also assumed that the updated model will arrive before the BS-VI deadline (1 April 2020).
