As we all know that the Honda Activa is one of the best selling scooters in India.
Now continuing the series, Honda is all set up to launch Honda Activa 6G at the end of the year or early next year. This new model is made to follow the B6 emission norms set up by the government. It contains many new features in it which makes it more likable.
Addressing the design, the new Honda Activa 6G looks like an existing model with subtle upgrades in which you will get the fabulous look and aerodynamic structure body and this scooter have a fantastic suspension that allows you to run with newly designed LED headlamps assembly and also with the restyled body panels which make your scooter more appealing.
Looking at its feature, the new model in the series is a 6th generation variant. It will be 10% more fuel efficient than the other models. Let’s take account some of the major changes done in it so far:

Talking about its engine, it is the same as that of the current model. The 110 cc single cylinder engine with 8 bhp of peak power at 7,500 rpm and 9 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm. But the biggest change in its four-stroke engine is that it gets a fuel-injection instead of a carburetor. These changes are made up to follow them BS6 emission norms.
It is estimated that the addition of the fuel injection will make it 10% more efficient than the existing models which deliver up to 61 kmpl.
Talk about Honda Activa 6G service cost, which is officially done by Honda, you may have to pay up to 350 to 450. Which feels a bit more for the scooter
The addition of fuel-injection will definitely make the Honda Activa 6G costlier than the current model but the higher fuel efficiency will compensate for the higher price tag.
The price of the current generation of the Honda Activa is Rs 55,461 (ex-showroom Mumbai), the new 6th gen will be Rs 5,000 more. But again looking at its features it is a reasonable price.
