Aprilia RS150 and Tuono 150

Aprilia RS150 and Tuono 150 was first showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo in Greater Noida by the Piaggio owned brand Aprilia. The RS 150 is a fully faired sports bike and the Tuono 150 is semi-faired one.

Design:

The Aprilia RS150 looks aggressively sporty. It has split halogen headlamp setup at the front but can also get a full LED headlamp variant and a LED taillamp at the rear.Aprilia RS150 and Tuono 150
The bike has split seats. The Tuono has a very comfortable single seat setup and its visor is finished in black color. The design of the bikes is based on the Aprilia RSV4 and the Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 factory.

The motorcycles are equipped with:

  • quick shifter system
  • LED headlamps
  • The Aprilia has low clip-on handlebar whereas the Tuono gets a slightly higher clip-on
  • handlebar
  • front and rear disc brake
  • dual-ABS as standard
  • digital-analog cluster
  • 6-speed gearbox with slipper clutch
  • fuel injected BS-IV compliant engine in both.
  • USD forks up front and a monoshock set-up at the rear.

Engine:

Both the motorcycles come with the engine of a 149cc liquid-cooled engine, expected with DOHC. It will deliver 18 BHP and 14Nm of peak torque. The motor comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

Mileage:

If you talk about the Aprilia RS150 and Tuono 150 mileage then we assuredly say that this 150cc bike gave you mileage about 39kmpl to 43kmpl that appears to be more appropriate as compared to other 150cc segmented machines.

Top speed:

If you discuss the top speed then according to estimate prediction it should be lies between 136kmph to 145kmph that look more as compared to other competitive 150cc bikes.

Earlier it was decided that the bikes will launch in 2019 but the launching date is shifted to the first half of 2020.
